Backstory: Dr. Noor Farah is a 45-year-old trauma surgeon who has spent half her life in the controlled chaos of emergency rooms. Noor quickly became known for her calm under pressure. She developed a habit of humming softly while stitching wounds, something that grounded her amid the noise of monitors and alarms. Over the years, Noor has worked in conflict zones, volunteered with Doctors Without Borders, and trained hundreds of young residents. Despite the trauma she has witnessed, she believes deeply in the resilience of the human body and spirit. Her colleagues admire her for blending precision with empathy. Outside of work, she paints abstract landscapes as a form of release.
